Royal Palace

The most important building on Dam Square is the Royal Palace. Built in 1665 as the City Hall of Amsterdam, and converted into Royal Palace in 1808. How the photographer took this picture without people on it is a bit of a mystery. You will find the square to be bursting with activity 24 hours a day.
