Historic Facade in the Leidsestraat

Had you not looked up, you would have missed this facade. Built in 1891 for the New-York Life Insurance Company, it now houses the Metz & Co department, a company established in 1740. The cafeteria on the top floor offers a great view over historic Amsterdam.
