The
Atlas Hotel in Amsterdam is a charming, intimate three star hotel
built in the Art Nouveau style. Situated in a quiet area of the city and
yet close to the main sights, the hotel provides its guests with a full
range of modern accommodation facilities and a warm friendly atmosphere.

Features There are just 23 rooms at the Hotel Atlas all of which
are spacious and have en-suite facilities. Room features include cable TV,
direct dial telephone and private safe. The hotel also provides room
service and a dry cleaning service. Guests may also have their breakfast
served in their room. There is also a bar within the hotel. The hotel's
staff are all trained in the Art of Hospitality and will be very happy to
book theatre tickets or restaurant reservations and give advice on places
to visit. The hotel is
in an ideal location on Van Eeghen Straat, a quiet residential area close
to the centre of Amsterdam. It is close to the Museumplein with the famous
Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum. The lively Leidseplein, with its vibrant
bars and restaurants, is also nearby. The area also has many charming
boutiques, trendy shops and cafes.

Facilities A delicious continental breakfast is served in the
hotel's breakfast room and there is a bar where guests can relax over a
drink after a hard day's shopping or sightseeing. The hotel is also
ideally located for the many bistros and restaurants that the city has to

Local
Attractions Amsterdam is a lively, bustling city, the centre of
which is just the right size to be able to explore on foot or on one of
the many bicycles that can be hired, cycling being a Dutch national past
time. There are a number of museums worth a visit. Rijksmuseum is the
country's top art museum and the place to go to see old masters. The
nearby Van Gogh museum houses nearly 200 of the artist's paintings. The
most famous building in Amsterdam is Anne Frankhuis which attracts over
half a million tourists each year, it was here that Anne Frank wrote her
famous diaries whilst hiding during the Second World War. A boat trip on
the many canals is a good way to see Amsterdam and it is from here that
you can really appreciate how picturesque the city is, with its tall,
narrow houses, imposing arched bridges and the fabulous boathouses which
line the canals. Amsterdam is also famous for its nightlife and there are
many bars, restaurants and clubs to explore.
